If you have already installed the Divi, now you can go to customize it. Do not forget that you must first activate the Divi.

First Divi customizing you can start from Appearance → Customize:

This will open settings page and these are not settings that come in Divi control panel. Other settings can be found in special Divi settings about which I will write in the another manual.

In these settings you can to set the basic and many advanced things:

The basic operation you need it for customizing Divi

Change Site title, Tagline and site icon in Divi theme

First, go to General Settings (Appearance → Customize):

Click on Site Identity:

In the fields Site Title and Tagline enter information about your site. Also, select and upload an image for Site icon. The image should be sized 512×512 px.

To Save and Publish, just click on button Save and Publish.


Layout Settings in Divi Theme

While you’re still in General Settings, click on Layout Settings:

Here you can to set the various things when it comes to Layout. There is no reason to write special instructions, it is best to try out different things and adjust to your liking. Divi does not use boxed layout by default, if you want it, here you can turn it on.

If you make a mistake and want to return the initial settings, simply click on the icon next to the setting:

To Save and Publish, just click on button Save and Publish.


Divi Fonts – customizing Typography

While you’re still in General Settings, click on Typography:

Here you can change almost everything when it comes to fonts:

The important thing for you is that you need to explore and set options that suit you best:

If I did something wrong or you change your mind, to reset Divi font to default, just click the option next to the appropriate font settings:

To Save and Publish, just click on button Save and Publish.
